Hello, I'm Kurt, if you know any other Kurts I am specifically this kurt. In my day-to-day life I work in IT Infrastructure for a cybersecurity company and in some distant past I studied programming, but these days I do more sysadmin stuff and programming is relegated to the odd automation script or random tool.
I've intended to have a blog for ages, but I never did. I had a site, but it barely existed. I strongly believe hypermedia has untapped potential, and that small, personal blogs are a wonderful thing. So I decided to finally put my money where my mouth is and start a proper blog. It'll be about art, tech, life, the universe and anything else that occurs to me.
In some ways this blog is an extension of my journals, but it's distinctly not a daily diary type blog. It's more a place for, or a reason to make, more structured versions of random ideas or experiences that pop up there. If you want a better idea of what kind of things I intend to post on here, you should check out And Then There Was Nothing, which is mostly about what this blog isn't but might give you some idea.
I write a bit of fiction from time, some of that is posted on here, but it's pretty old. I do intend to pick it up again, and if I do I'll probably post it here too.
