Denison senior wide reciever
Tommy Aseson (LaGrange, IL/Lyons Township) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, announced Tuesday, October 15.
Asleson hauled in six catches for a career-high 191 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns in Denison's 48-30 win at Wooster on Saturday night. The senior tallied a 24-yard touchdown reception to open up scoring for the Big Red. He later added an 86-yard touchdown score in the third quarter.
This is the 26th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week. This marks the fourth week that the NCAC has received selections.
