Welcome to Triangle Ultimate
Triangle Ultimate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to growing the sport of ultimate frisbee and expanding access to high-quality, community-centered programming across the Triangle. Each year, we create fun, welcoming, and development-focused experiences for youth and adults through leagues, tournaments, camps, and clinics - serving more than 3,000 participants in 2024 alone. With over 100 programs running throughout the year, more than half of our players are youth 18 and under, reflecting our strong commitment to developing the next generation of athletes and leaders.
New to Ultimate?
Ultimate is a sport for all! It can be played at all levels, at almost every age, and we have a league for everyone! Our leagues run year round for youth and adult participants. We run Learn to Play programs for beginner youth participants and Adult Beginners League and Women's Learning League for our adult beginner participants.
On the youth side, we also run two school-based leagues, Middle School League, and High School League. Participating schools come from across the Triangle to compete in weekly games, building skills as a team in preparation for the end of season Triangle Ultimate Middle School Championships and USA Ultimate High School State Championship.

What We DoOur organization is built on collaboration. We partner with parks & recreation departments, Boys & Girls Clubs, schools, and other youth-serving organizations to bring the sport directly into communities - especially those that have been historically underserved.Through our partnership with Coach Across America and the AmeriCorps VISTA program, our staff and coaches bring positive youth development practices into every entry-level league and program we run. |
Why We Do ItAccessibility is at the heart of what we do. Our pay-what-you-can fee scale for all entry-level programs allows families to participate without financial barriers or stigma. By removing obstacles to play, we’re ensuring that all youth have the same opportunities in the sport.Triangle Ultimate is not just building stronger athletes - we’re building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities across the Triangle through the sport of ultimate. |
