The PS2/GameCube/Xbox era was the last generation where buying a new console felt like you were entering a completely different world.
Every generation since has felt more like an upgrade.

- Gamers aren’t anti-digital. We’re anti-having choices taken away. Buy digital if you want. Buy physical if you want. Why shouldn’t BOTH exist? If the next PlayStation or Xbox went all-digital, would that actually affect whether you bought one?
