- Gotta say, this is a garbage take. "Good Art" doesn't require suffering. Overcoming adversity isn't the same as existing because of it. Maybe these folks don't know how to appreciate art & culture that isn't about pain. IMO this take says more abt them than it does abt culture.I tend to agree. Modern nerds live in safety, don't experience much, and as such don't have much to say. So we remix existing stories written from more dramatic times rather than create from our own lived experience... just like AI does.
