Today, I concluded a 12-week #Python "Resident Core Developer" internship with @ThePSF, with just over 100 hours spent on: co-organization of the 2020 Virtual Python Core Dev Sprint, CPython PR review, and work on PEP 594. Huge thanks to @EWDurbin @ewa_jodlowska @WillingCarol!

I just reviewed and merged a PR (github.com/python/cpython…) for documenting the process of porting asyncio to Python 3.10, after the removal of the *loop* argument throughout asyncio's high-level API. Thanks to @VictorStinner for bringing attention to it on python-dev!

Hot on-going discussion about the PSF Code of Conduct, how CoC violations should be handled and (the lack of) transparency in CoC incidents handling: discuss.python.org/t/discussion-a… It sounds healthy to discuss it even if it's unpleasant to me. Also, I have opinions on this topic 😊
