I come back here occasionally just to browse, but that's becoming impossible. Between recommendations being right wing grifters and the ads (no joke) being homeopathic junk science, weed products, and articles about "the best nude scenes," I just can't. I'm sad about Twitter.

Between the security issues and downtime, Hive pretty much bit it in the circle of folks I follow. Trying Tumblr now maybe unless another contender has emerged? I don't want to come back to Elmo's Playplace here but I also don't want to lose touch with people or what's going on.

OK, trying out @TheHIVE_Social for now. I kicked the tires on Mastodon, but it felt like trying to run Linux on my Desktop. Hive seems like it’s Twitter but 8 years ago, and a lot of artists/authors/gamers that I follow have moved there. Join me? I’m “doorholder” on there.

Yeah, I think it’s about time to wrap it up here. Reinstating his account ain’t working for me. I’ve spent a lot of the last two years leveling and rebuilding my IRL social and work lives, so I guess it’s time to abandon this place after 15 years to find something new. ✌️ Tumblr?
