    Dear visitors, JANM will be closed on Sunday, August 20 due to Hurricane Hilary. The Museum buildings will also be closed on Monday, August 21. We anticipate resuming normal hours on Tuesday. Be safe everyone!

    FYI - Nisei Week events this weekend may be subject to cancellation due to Hurricane Hilary. More updates to come!

    Everyone in the JANM family is deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the wildfires on Maui and the destruction of the historic town of Lahaina. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this disaster. For those needing assistance or wanting to help, here are resources:
