Gutenberg has 3,862 reviews on the WordPress plugin directory and averages 2.10 stars. That's WordPress's own editor. Meta for WooCommerce is 2.20 and Google for WooCommerce 2.70. I keep running into this, the default option is usually the worst rated one.
I pulled ratings across 11 app marketplaces and Atlassian is the odd one out. Its 3,817 reviewed apps average 3.42 stars. Shopify sits at 4.45 and WordPress at 4.49. Jira users are either the harshest crowd in software or the worst served.
