- It feels useless to create libraries in this world run by AI overlords. But here is one anyway I am working on for fun. A new 3d version of LegraJS to draw with lego like bricks. Simple UI primitives like spheres, lines, cones, curves, etc.
- Spring cleaning. Donating 7 boxes of books and two of CDs. Including some technical classics I’ve been lugging around since college.
- Not just movies. I have abandoned books (The Road, How High We Go in the Dark, etc). I have abandoned news articles. I have turned my phone off when some post or reel showed children suffering. It's extra unbearable as a parent.A friend told me that now that they've had a child, her husband can't bear to watch movies in which bad things happen to kids. Same here. That was one of the most surprising things about having children. You're not just protective of your own children, but children in general.
- Still seeing tweets from people I unfollowed days ago in my “following” feed. Likely a cache invalidation bug. Age old CS problems.
