- Is the link in the comments dead? @TomOrbach's newsletter had a bit about no longer including them in replies, but this post hasn't gotten much traction. Or it could just be me being terrible at hooks.
- We've spent 18 months using podcasts to show up in AI search answers. 30+ episodes so far. Today I'm open sourcing the Claude skill we use to prep for everyone.
- I get a little embarrassed when I see friends onboard while we’re in the middle of a pivot. It’s like having old friends stop by when the house is a wreck. Can’t do everything though. All I can do is continue to focus on the most important thing and right now that’s lead gen.
- Jon's right here. It was out of his control. In May, ChatGPT started including inline links. Referrals to tracked sites jumped 157% in a week. In July 2025, it went the other way. Referrals fell 52% while Reddit and Wikipedia citations climbed. You can't control trafficAlways be nice to your LLM.
