This is important context as to why we created Octane to begin with.

Octane is far more than a "faster" version of React. Inferno tried to be that – and it succeeded to some extent too – it powered Facebook KaiOS to hundreds of millions of users in production, for low-end devices that needed the low memory usage and high performance.

Battle-tested @octanejs Lynx by porting our signature tutorials. And they're now live on the Octane website ;)

The amount of the effort that has gone into this has been incredible. One of the last missing pieces for the TSRX ecosystem was Rust support.

Meet OXC for TSRX TSRX: the successor to JSX OXC: the fast Rust toolchain powering Vite and Rolldown Linter, formatter, parser. All compatible with your existing toolchain, including Vite.

You can define TypeGPU shader functions ('use gpu' directive) in @octanejs component files (.tsx/tsrx) and it works without a hitch! Very excited to play more with this integration

I’ve heard from lots of people who’d love to get involved. If you’re on Discord, this is your chance to help shape the future of Octane.
