Mayor Eric Adams and DOT Commissioner announced a $40M plan to install benches or leaning bars at 8,750 bus stops lacking seating. Starting November, 875 stops will be upgraded annually over 10 years, improving accessibility for seniors, parents, and people with disabilities.
