Susanne Knight Connally Belovarich

Susanne Knight Connally Belovarich grew up in Albany, New York. Her passion for art started at a young age. She aspired to become an animator. While working in the animation industry in Los Angeles she turned to abstraction in order refresh her mind after each long work day. Susanne began painting under the guidance of seasoned abstract artist Dael Patton. During this time she painted with acrylic and ink.

She began experimenting with art making on her iPhone in her free time. She continues exploring with different moods, textures and colors while composing abstractions on her touch device.

Susanne is inspired by architecture and nature. Artistically she is influenced by artists such as Kandinsky, Picasso, and Salvador Dali. Her work is rapidly evolving as she learns new ways to marry analog and digital processes.

Susanne lives and works in Portland, Oregon. She has exhibited work in Los Angeles, as well as Albany and Syracuse, New York. She regularly posts works on Instagram under the moniker @sueish.
