What is the difference between API quota, top-ups, and extra credits?

Your API quota combines your monthly subscription allowance and any remaining one-time top-ups. Subscription quota resets each billing period; top-ups are consumed once and do not reset monthly. In the dashboard, Subscription shows the plan portion and Top-ups the one-time portion; calls use subscription first, then top-ups. Extra credits are a separate balance used only after API quota is exhausted; they do not reset monthly.

Are Piloterr solutions secured and GDPR compliant?

We have implemented industry-standard security measures to ensure the safety of your data. Our platform uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect your API requests. We follow GDPR-conscious data handling practices and are aligned with CCPA compliance standards where applicable. Enterprise customers can request security questionnaires and discuss data retention, access controls, and routing isolation for regulated use cases.

How frequently are new APIs added, can I suggest new ones?

We are always adding new APIs to our platform based on customer demand and emerging technologies. Browse the API library for the latest endpoints, or request a custom API from the dashboard. If you have a specific target in mind, contact our support team at support@piloterr.com with the site, fields, and volume you need, we prioritize additions where demand and feasibility align.

Can I upgrade, downgrade and cancel anytime?

Active plans can be upgraded, downgraded, and cancelled anytime from the dashboard. Changes are immediate. When changing plans, the remaining unused credits of your current plan are applied from your next invoice amount according to your billing terms.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that things change. You can cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard or by contacting support@piloterr.com. Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Piloterr's sole discretion, as described in our Terms of Service. Contact support@piloterr.com if you need help.

Do my unused credits rollover to the next month?

Your monthly subscription allowance resets each billing period—unused subscription quota does not roll over. One-time API top-ups are different: they persist until fully consumed, even across billing periods. Extra credits do not reset monthly either.

Do you offer technical support for users?

Yes, we are always happy to help users get the most from our API. Email support is included on all plans; higher tiers add chat and priority response, and Enterprise plans include a dedicated account manager. How credits API calls are calculated?

Synchronous calls are billed on HTTP 200. Async calls (`is_async=true`) return 202 (not billed) and are billed when the job completes successfully — recorded as 201 in your request logs. 404 may bill depending on the endpoint (badge on the endpoint page). Client errors (400, 401, 402, 403) and platform errors (5xx/6xx) are not billed. Standard API calls use 1 credit, JavaScript rendering uses 2 credits, and WebUnlocker uses 3 credits per billed request. For the full status-code table and examples, consult our documentation.

Can I request custom API endpoints?

Of course. We are always expanding our library and building new APIs for different targets. Contact hello@piloterr.com with your schema and volume requirements, or reach out via the dashboard. We are not able to build APIs for every website for a variety of legal and technical reasons, but we always make additions where they are needed and feasible.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards on self-serve plans. Enterprise and Custom customers can use invoicing, annual agreements, and procurement-friendly billing. Accepted payment methods are shown on the pricing page.
