It was a pleasure speaking at the NASA Ames Civil Servant Swearing-In ceremony. Our nation’s space program has ambitious goals. We need civil servants' ideas, their skills, and their passion. I look forward to seeing all that this group of talented individuals will accomplish!

It was an honor to participate in Lick Observatory's 150th Anniversary celebration! I had the opportunity to present H.R. 1348, which I coauthored with @RepLiccardo, @RepRoKhanna, and @RepJimmyPanetta, expressing support for Lick Observatory and its contributions in science.

We should agree: get toxins out of our air, water, and soil. But the Trump administration's policies protect polluters, so it is no surprise that they are trying to hide evidence about cancer risks from pollution.

On Monday, the Trump admin cancelled funding for the NOAA’s Arctic Report Card. The annual report historically has collected data on the impact of rising ocean temperatures on the arctic’s glaciers, fisheries, and shipping routes. democrats-science.house.gov/news/press-rel…
