Quick follow-up on the directory submissions. When from DR 7 => 26, so it is working. DR went up, and that alone helps a bit with trust. When someone lands on AffiliationList, a stronger domain rating makes the site feel less like a random new tool. More DR does not

So this directory everybody is talking about made $93K in 42 hours it has no SEO juice (a new site with no authority) and no organic traffic my directory of nichhe job boards made $100K in 4 YEARS it has topical authority and organic traffic I got my strategy so WRONG 😭

For a while now, he’s been building projects and putting them out on X. Each one was a small bet increasing the odds that someone, somewhere, would notice. And if you keep doing that long enough… eventually something hits.

The main lesson founders should take away from this is that the confluence of having built an audience for many years and daring to launch new ideas in public tills the soil for events like this. Maybe ask Jonathan how many failed products he has built before today.
