This week on @Divotdotorg I interviewed Steve Jobs' oldest friend Daniel Kottke. He met Steve Jobs at Reed College in 1972, traveled with him to India, and spent the summer of 1976 hand-assembling the very first Apple computers in the Jobs family garage in Cupertino. Timestamps:

This is the best part of startups. A longtime Bevy engineer had his ninth anniversary today. During a catchup, the first 10-mins we each spent overly thanking each other for the time so far. The last 20-minutes was us saying how much we have each others' back going forward.

The more I learn about inference and data the more I understand how, like Alex Karp says, the model companies are charging us while taking our data to grow their business. It’s wrong and changing fast. Enterprise inference makes things way more secure and cheaper and faster!
