David got in touch last week to share what he calls 'a minor success', but we think it's a trick worth shouting about! 😊 If you fancy getting a few bob back on your monthly bills, check out our top cashback accounts (some come with up to 8% savers): moneysavingexpert.com/banking/compar…
Council Tax cashback success from MoneySaver David: 'I never ever knew you could do this until
I heard Martin mention it... We changed our Council tax Direct Debit to 12 months rather than 10 to smooth out our budgeting a little. We also get 2% cashback from our bank every month for a Council Tax Direct Debit – this change means we get cashback for 12 months rather than 10, which works out as an extra £10 a year!'

'Should the friend who was late for our holiday share his train delay compensation?' 🤔
This week's Money Moral Dilemma: "I recently went on a canal boat weekend with some friends. We live all over the country, so met at the boat hire location. One friend took the train instead of driving, and his train was delayed, meaning we couldn't leave until he arrived. He later told us he'd claimed compensation for the full cost of his train ticket. Should he share this money with us since we were equally inconvenienced?"
