    Observing single molecules usually requires scientists mark them with fluorescent labels. But these labels change molecules in ways that obscure their interactions. @UWMadison scientists created a new label-free way to detect & profile single molecules: news.wisc.edu/uw-madison-sci…
    A small concave depression in the surface of an optical fiber with a mirror in it. A similar setup was used in the experiment.
