Anderson Lee

I'm a second-year PhD student at Princeton University advised by Professor Aleksandra Korolova. Things that have been on top of my head:
  • Data-centric ML: What's the role of data in frontier machine intelligence? How do we curate, synthetically generate, and filter data under a fixed algorithm paradigm?
  • Multimodal Intelligence: What data makes a good demonstration that we can model to hope for the emergence of intelligence? Is the prediction of next frame an efficient demonstration of rational decision-making? What role does language play to abstract the multimodal sensing, when does it help, and when does it not help?
Prior to Princeton, I got my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at University of Washington, advised by Professor Jamie Morgenstern and Rachel Hong. I was very fortunate to work with them on evaluating bias mitigation methods with incomplete demographic information setup. I also had an amazing opportunity to work with Emmanuel Mensah on low-resource audio-visual transformers for wildlife monitoring.

Before coming to the United States, I was born and raised in Tainan City, Taiwan 🇹🇼. Outside of school and work, I enjoy playing badminton and guitar.
