data access
for researchers
if you're working on a research project and would like access to the billions of rows we've scraped, along with the data we've computed, inferred, generated and embedded from them, we can give you database access scoped to your project, for free!
you don't need to be backed by a university or research institution, but we do ask that you have a concrete project and a plan to publish your results. we store these tables:
account_status, account_status_log, articles, author_behavior, author_bot_score, author_bot_signals, author_spam_score, avatar_assign, avatar_centroids, avatar_dupe_groups, avatar_images, avatar_vectors, campaign_tags, daily_totals, gee_nodes, gee_vectors, grok_analysis, lists, pfp_rings, profile_changes, profile_identity_log, profiles, radar_campaigns, radar_dossiers, radar_flagged_authors, radar_labels, radar_members, radar_posts, radar_scan_authors, radar_scan_edges, radar_scan_enrich, radar_scan_hot, radar_scan_keys, radar_scan_members, radar_scan_rows, radar_scan_stats, radar_scan_templ, radar_series, spam_bot_authors, stories, tco, trend_explanations, trends, tweet_sentiment, tweet_source, tweet_stats, tweet_status, tweets, user_categories
how much we can share depends on your project's scope. some tables we may not be able to share at all, due to GDPR and other data privacy laws.
to request access, email [email protected] with a short description of your project. you can publish whatever you find, as long as you cite twitter.cat. we'd appreciate a heads-up before you publish, but we don't need editorial control over anything you write. please don't redistribute raw data, target private individuals, or share your login.
for small developers
for small projects that need a free twitter api, we heavily recommend using something like emusks with a small account pool instead of the twitter.cat api.
