GitHub stars: the GitHub GraphQL API, the date each person starred mksglu/context-mode. Each day shows the total on that day.
GitHub installs: the GitHub REST API traffic/clones (GitHub calls the count "unique cloners"), read once a day into adoption-history.json. The month-end values before November 2026 come from the repository's stats.json history, one commit per reading.
