Alright guys, realtime is live on /dev/null, things are looking pretty good so far.
Previously we were doing a bunch of polling blindly. No more.
The new flow is quite simple:
- Something changes -> Reverb tells your browser -> browser fetches data -> UI updates
This way we're…

I thought reading LOTR on stage at Laracon AU was the craziest thing I've done, turns out hacking into someone else's conference talk is even better. 😈
Did You Know: In the era of AI agent, we are getting less and less touching our keyboard and our keyboard will have long life hahahaha
Does that mean because we're using our brain less and less, that it also will have a long live? 😅
I'm travelling for Laracon AU conference so I can't pick up my pre-order! :(
Definitely looking forward to playing it though!
Many popular applications built with the Electron framework will likely migrate to Rust in the future.
What matters is that AI has made working with Rust easier, so we can expect to see more Rust based software emerge going forward.
most would keep the web UI though 😅 tauri is rust but still renders html, it just uses the system webview instead of shipping a whole chromium
for my own preferences when it comes to mobile app development I go with expo
Genuine question that I've been wondering. Rust does everything by having built-in checks and allowing only for very explicit unsafe cases when necessary.

ponytail 5 and the grill me skill. the rest of it is pretty self sufficient. I do ask things like present options in the ask ui so it's quick to delegate lots of choices un a few strokes.
and keep your project, and personal Claude md files updated regularly
How do you plan on using it - via terminal, Claude Desktop app, or another GUI/control plane?
Having a good friend laid off just sucks. Can't really do much except try to find a possibly fitting job and "network" a bit.
By the way, folks, is /dev/null app for Android on the Play Store an official app, or just a fan-made PWA wrapper? Is it worth installing, or is it better to just use it in the browser? Has anyone here tried it yet?
I love how we all thought we needed a home page to tell people our life story on as if anyone would be interested 😭
No evidence remains, but I built the very first DMB website. Was replaced two weeks later by one built by his management team. I remember that vividly because the background on that new website was black with veins (yes, veins as in blood) coursing down it.
