The LatePoint REST API lets you read and manage the data in a LatePoint booking site from your own code: create bookings, look up customers, check availability, record payments and more. It’s part of LatePoint Pro Features and runs on your own WordPress site, so every request goes to your site’s domain.

Base URL

If WordPress is installed in a subfolder, include it, for example https://your-site.com/blog/wp-json/latepoint/v1. You can copy the exact URL from LatePoint → Settings → API → API Endpoint.

Before you start

1

Enable the API

In your WordPress admin, go to LatePoint → Settings → API, turn on Enable REST API and save.
2

Generate an API key

In the same screen, click Generate New Key, choose its permissions and copy the key. See Authentication.
3

Test the connection

A working setup returns {"status": "ok", "rest_api_enabled": true, ...}.

Dates and times

All dates and times use your site’s timezone (Settings → General in WordPress) unless a field says otherwise. Booking responses include both the local time and UTC, for example start.datetime and start.datetime_utc. Times of day can be sent as HH:MM (24-hour) or as minutes after midnight. For example, 14:30 and 870 are the same time.
