Personal information we collect
Information you provide to us. Personal information you may provide to us includes:
- Wallet and authentication data, such as the public address of the wallet you connect, data provided when you authenticate through Privy or another login provider (for example, an email address), and internal account identifier.
- Transaction data, such as details of your trades and positions, including type of transaction, date and time of transactions, transaction amounts, orders, executions, margin and leverage levels, market positions, funding payments, liquidation events, balances, deposit and withdrawal records (including destination addresses), fees, profit and loss, and transfer status.
- Communications data, such as the content of communications you send us and any personal information within them, including the email address you use to contact us.
- Other data, such as data you provide in connection with an invitation, waitlist or referral program (including the referral code in a referral link you follow to the Service), data you provide by participating in trading competition (such as your ranking, and profit and loss, which may be visible to other users on a leaderboard), or data that you otherwise choose to provide us.
Identity verification data: If you choose to fund your account through certain payment or exchange providers (e.g., Stripe, Coinbase), those providers may require you to complete identity verification directly with them. We do not receive any identity verification information from this process.
Automatic data collection. We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with the Service, such as:
- Device data, such as your computer or mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers, language settings and device carrier.
- Location data, which is approximate (for example, as inferred from network data or device settings).
- Online activity data, such as pages or screens viewed, API endpoints accessed, online services visited before browsing to the Service, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about activity on a page or screen, access times and duration of access.
Tracking technologies. Some of the automatic collection described above is facilitated by the following technologies:
- Cookies, which are small text files that websites store on user devices and that allow web servers to record users’ web browsing activities and remember their submissions, preferences, credentials, and login status as they navigate a site.
- Local storage technologies, like HTML5, which provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store data on your device outside of your browser in connection with specific applications.
- Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, which are used to demonstrate that a webpage was accessed or opened, or that certain content was viewed, clicked or forwarded.
Referral links. We use browser local storage to remember referral codes for signup. Codes have no set expiry and remain until replaced, removed through browser settings or cleared after successful signup or sign-in.

- communicate with you, provide support, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback;
- personalize your experience with us and our communications;
- marketing purposes;
- running trading competitions, leaderboards and our invite and referral programs;
- research and development purposes, including to develop, analyze and improve our products and services, create aggregated or de-identified data, and perform analytics;
- comply with applicable laws (including sanctions and anti-money laundering laws), lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas, court orders, investigations or requests from government authorities;
- protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims);
- audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies;
- diagnose and address errors and performance issues;
- help ensure security and prevent misuse of the Service (such as through rate limiting);
- prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity; and

In addition to the other uses included in this section, we may use the Tracking technologies described above for the following purposes:
- Technical operation. To allow the technical operation of the Service, such as remembering selections as you navigate the site and remembering whether you are logged in.
- Functionality. To enhance the performance and functionality of our services.
- Analytics. To help us understand user activity on the Service, including the volume and demographics of users, which pages are most and least visited and how users move around the Service or interact with our emails.
How we share your personal information
We may share your personal information with the following parties or as otherwise described at the time of collection:
- Affiliates. In some cases, our affiliates might have access to personal information.
- Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business (such as hosting, internet service providers, information technology, customer support, email delivery, marketing and website/data analytics).
- Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
- Wallet, payment and exchange providers. In connection with your use of the Service, you may connect a third-party wallet. In addition, if you choose to fund your account through certain payment or exchange providers (e.g., Stripe, Coinbase), those providers may require you to complete identity verification directly with them. These third-party providers’ processing of your personal information will be governed by their respective privacy policies and the settings associated with your accounts on the third-party services.
- Linked third-party services. If you link your Service account to a third-party service, we may share your personal information with that third-party service. The third party’s processing of the shared information will be governed by its privacy policy and the settings associated with your account on the third-party service.
- Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties in litigation, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
- Corporate transactions. We may disclose personal information in the context of actual or prospective business transactions (e.g., investments in MNX, financing of MNX, public stock offerings, the sale, transfer or merger of all or part of our business, assets or shares, liquidation or reorganization). For example, we may need to share certain personal information with prospective counterparties and their advisers. We may disclose your personal information to an acquirer, successor, or assignee of MNX or a portion of our business assets as part of any such restructuring or transaction in which personal information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets.
On-chain transparency
The Service settles trades through smart contracts on the MegaETH blockchain, with orders matched by MNX’s off-chain service. Deposits, withdrawals and trade settlements occur on the MegaETH blockchain, a public and transparent network, and certain transaction data and wallet addresses associated with settled transactions are permanently and publicly recorded on-chain as a result. This data is not controlled by MNX, cannot be modified or deleted by MNX or any other party, and is publicly accessible.
In addition, certain account information is publicly viewable through the Service itself. A wallet address’s positions, margin balance, and historical profit-and-loss on the Service are publicly accessible. Signed-in users also may access a leaderboard displaying wallet addresses and profit-and-loss rankings. You also may choose to publish a shareable profit-and-loss image.
Referral relationships are also publicly viewable through the Service. If you create an account after following another user’s referral link, the referral is recorded automatically, and the wallet address and referral code that referred you, when you joined, the referral’s terms, whether it has ended or been voided and when (but not why), and the fees counted toward the referrer’s earnings are publicly accessible. If you open the referrals page while the referral program is open, a referral code is created for you and is publicly associated with your wallet address, and if you refer others, the wallet addresses you referred, your referral earnings and your referral payouts are publicly accessible.
We also maintain certain account and trading records, which are not publicly accessible and which we process in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Your choices
In this section, we describe the choices available to you.
We retain referral and payout records for as long as needed to administer rewards, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Access or update your information. You can manage your login and wallet details directly with your wallet provider or third-party login provider. Information recorded on the blockchain, such as your wallet address and transactions, is public and permanent and generally cannot be altered or deleted by us.
Opt-out of communications. You may opt-out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us. It may take time for your opt-out to be effective. Please note that if you choose to opt-out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.
Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, the Service may not work properly. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
Blocking images/clear gifs. Most browsers and devices allow you to configure your device to prevent images from loading, so the business hosting the image will not detect that you have viewed a page. To do this, follow the instructions in your particular browser or device settings.
Do Not Track. We currently do not respond to legacy “Do Not Track” signals received from browsers.
Other sites and services
The Service may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties. Our content also may be integrated into web pages or other online services that are not associated with us. In addition, as described above, you may connect a third-party wallet to the Service.
These links, integrations and other third-party features are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control websites, mobile applications or online services operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites, mobile applications and online services you use and/or link to the Service.
International data transfers
Your personal information may be transferred to the United States, Japan or other locations where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your state, province, or country.
Security
We employ technical, organizational and physical safeguards that are designed to protect the personal information we collect.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the Service from a minor without the consent of the minor’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will comply with applicable legal requirements to delete the information.
