Helmcode vs Munito AI

Compare Helmcode and Munito AI for European inference: API formats, subscription and usage prices, retrieval, speech, OCR, and deployment.

Choose Munito AI for usage-based inference, direct OpenAI and Anthropic API compatibility, or a PDF OCR API billed per page. Consider Helmcode for a subscription, hosted embeddings and reranking, text to speech, or deployment in your own data center.

Checked on 2 November 2026 against the linked public documentation. This comparison describes published offers. It does not compare measured speed or accuracy.

Compare the cost of your workload

Munito AI charges for chat tokens and OCR pages at the published model and region prices. Committed spend and dedicated endpoints use contract terms.

Helmcode's pricing page lists Starter at €399/month, Growth at €1,299/month, and Scale at €3,199/month. It lists unlimited Qwen and Gemma tokens within request and concurrency limits, with separate monthly allowances for DeepSeek and GLM Flash. GLM 5.3 has a separate add-on. Its model documentation describes resold proprietary models as a separate offer paid from prepaid credit.

Helmcode's introduction also describes open-model tokens as unlimited. Its pricing page gives the model-specific allowances above. Confirm the applicable allowance before a purchase.

A subscription and a token price do not have one universal break-even point. Compare the same model, input and output lengths, cache usage, peak concurrency, and region requirements. Include any add-on and the cost of unused subscription capacity.

Match the product to the application

Munito AI serves the Anthropic Messages format directly, which lets Claude Code connect without a translation gateway. Its OCR API reads PDF pages and returns Markdown before a chat model extracts fields or answers questions. See Invoice extraction and RAG.

Helmcode includes hosted retrieval models and text to speech in its catalog. Its deployment page describes operation inside a customer's data center. Munito AI's documented standard offer covers serverless inference, committed spend, and dedicated endpoints.

Check the data policy for each route

Munito AI uses zero data retention by default. Explicit storage features have separate retention periods. The EU host controls inference processing; workspace storage has a separate region setting. See Data privacy and Regions.

Helmcode states zero prompt and completion retention for its own inference in its security page. Its model documentation distinguishes its EU-hosted models from resold proprietary models on the original providers' infrastructure. Check the selected model, contract, and data policy for your application.

Try the application before you choose

Use the same evaluation set with both providers. Measure task accuracy, time to first token, complete response time, and behavior at your peak load. For documents, also check missing fields and incorrect source references.
