Yipeng Gao

I am a third-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at University of Southern California, advised by Prof. Laurent Itti. I am also a student researcher at Google DeepMind.

Previously, I was a research scientist intern at ByteDance Intelligent Creation Lab. I obtained an M.S. degree at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) and a B.E. degree at the South China University of Technology.

[10/15/2026] We released 3DCodeVerse on arXiv, exploring 3D worlds as code.
[09/24/2026] Three papers accepted to NeurIPS 2026 (Evaluations & Datasets Track), including my first-author paper 3DCodeBench (5/5/4), as well as two co-authored papers, SkillsBench and Harbor-Index.
[05/31/2026] We released 3DCodeBench, a benchmark for agentic procedural 3D modeling via code.
[02/20/2026] LAM was accepted to CVPR 2026.
[02/03/2026] Joining Google DeepMind as a Student Researcher.
