The 2019 Origin of the Nations arranges the figures as first and second sevens of vassals under Japheth and under Shem, with further vassal lists for Ham, Cush, Mizraim, Canaan, Joktan, and Peleg. Recurring names are treated as offices or dual memberships rather than second births: Salah of Genesis 11 is Arphaxad II in the Shemite list of Genesis 10, and Eber appears as Tubal among Japheth’s dependents and as Elam among Shem’s. Feudal sonship is also the mechanism that admits women. Kingship at Its Source, as described in the 2019 republication, counts the fifty-four as forty-three males and eleven females; the later narrative says twelve of the names refer to women. One such figure is Joktanite Uzal, equated with Sumerian Inanna: listed among Joktan’s “sons” but treated as the genetic daughter of Arphaxad (Hadoram). The volumes present that reading as a consequence of taking the list as a political charter; they do not claim that the Masoretic Text itself enumerates the women. The same volume identifies the Inanna Succession as the feudal mechanism by which the line continues after Arphaxad.
