Your Chief of Staff

Ask in plain language. Approve with a tap.

“Plan dinners for next week.” “Move Leo's piano lesson to Thursday.” “What do we need for Maya's party?” Your Chief of Staff knows the calendar, the meal plan and the lists, so it answers with your family in mind.

  • It proposes, you decide. Calendar changes, meal plans, emails and projects wait for your Approve.
  • A morning briefing on your phone: today's plans, the weather and what needs you.
  • Routines and a small team. Set up a weekly review, or add agents for meals, school or travel, each with its own thread.
  • Talk or type, and add a photo of a flyer or a school email to get it on the calendar.

Calendar

One calendar the whole family can read.

Everyone gets a color, so a glance tells you who's where. Connect Google Calendar, iCloud or Outlook and changes go both ways: add practice in HouseChief and it shows up on your phone's calendar too.

  • Week, month and agenda views, with repeating events.
  • Two-way sync with Google Calendar, iCloud and Outlook; other calendars by subscription link.
  • Choose which calendar each event goes on, or set a default for new events.
  • Skip or change one day of a repeating event without touching the rest.

Meals and groceries

From “what's for dinner” to a list sorted by aisle.

Plan the week, keep your recipes in one box, and send the ingredients to the grocery list in one step. The list sorts itself by aisle, so the store run is one lap, not three.

  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week.
  • A recipe box with links and ingredients, and dinners that repeat every week.
  • Separate lists for different stores, plus any checklist you like.

Kids and chores

Chores the kids actually check off.

Each kid sees their own chores with big, friendly checkboxes. Done chores earn stars, streaks build up, and stars buy rewards you approve. Kids don't need an email or a password.

  • Assign a chore to one kid, to anyone, or rotate it week to week.
  • A rewards store with parent approval.
  • A PIN keeps kids from switching into a parent's view.

And a lot more

Built for the way families really run.

  • To-dos and projects

Due dates, owners, reminders and repeats. Plan a birthday, a trip or a move from a template and the dates count back from the big day.

  • A wall display

Put an old tablet on the kitchen wall: today and tomorrow, the kids' chores, dinner and the grocery list. It dims at night.

  • Forward an email

Send the school newsletter or a party invite to your family address. The dates and to-dos land in your Inbox to approve.

  • Share links for helpers

Give grandparents or a sitter a read-only link to the schedule. No account, no lists, no notes, and you can turn it off anytime.

  • Connect your AI assistant

Connect HouseChief to the AI assistant you already use. It can look things up, add to your lists, save a recipe, or send something to your Inbox.

  • Coloring pages and stories

Make a coloring page or a short early-reader story starring your kid's favorite things, ready to print.

  • Errands on the web

Your agent can fill in a form or look up a reservation in its own browser. It stops and asks you before it submits anything.

  • Home upkeep

Air filters, smoke alarms, the gutters. HouseChief remembers when they're due so you don't have to.

Privacy and control

Your family's information stays your family's.

  • Kept to your household

Everything you add belongs to your family's household. Only your family sees it, plus anyone you give a read-only share link.

  • The AI asks first

Changes to the calendar and meals, emails, new projects and anything submitted on a website wait for a parent's Approve. Quick list additions come with Undo.

  • Kids get read-only helpers

A kid's Buddy helps with homework and checks their day. It can't change anything, browse the web or see parents-only lists, and parents can read the chats.

  • No ads. Never sold.

HouseChief does not show ads inside the app, and family data is never sold. When advertising measurement is turned on, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) can count a page view, a sign-up, and a finished sign-up. Kids' names, chores, calendars, photos and chats are not sent to Meta. Visits to these public pages are counted without cookies or personal information.
