I got my start in the film world as a documentary cinematographer with the budding age of internet filmmaking on the horizon. In post primary education I quickly found my way into crew work and becoming a part of the team on bigger productions. The new found room for collaboration and servicing the duties in my roles changed my perspective of film. After years of greenhorn work in indie film settings I found a pathway into the major film productions going on in Boston. Here I’ve been able to work on films like Knives Out I, CODA, Absolution, Madame Web, Ava and get to “day play” on many others with the great local G&E community. I also did some due diligence time in Hollywood where I worked with some of the most dialed technicians and collaborators on the west coast. With that short 2.5 year escape from the winter, I decided to come back and focus all my efforts on building my lighting prowess and company. I feel grateful for the beautiful city of Portland giving me a place to lay my head and the crazy hustle of Boston to “sharpen my blade”.
