About Atomus
Atomus turns YouTube, podcasts and any video on your Mac into listening practice. Words go blank as it plays and the video waits for you: pick the word you heard, type it, or say the line back and see which words came out.
Every word you miss is saved with its original audio and comes back in the notch a few a day, scheduled by FSRS, until you can say it. Press Option twice in any app to keep a line from a video, podcast or call.
The Watch tab has 60+ YouTube channels per language, filtered by level, in 10 languages. Your phrases stay on your Mac as Markdown files, with an Obsidian plugin. A free on-device model explains each phrase, no API key needed.
