Isolation by default
Keep one project and its toolchain in one isolated workspace instead of installing project dependencies on your host.
Persistent workspaces for Claude Code, Codex, Pi, or any harness: isolated, and still working after you disconnect. Self-host it, or start free in your browser.

SUPPORTED HARNESSES
The workspace starts with no agent. Run agro harness install <id> to add Claude Code, Codex, Pi, or another harness, then switch between them inside the workspace.

AGRO is the portable layer between your repository and your coding agent. The repository defines one isolated, persistent workspace, so the agent gets a consistent environment and your machine stays clean.
Keep one project and its toolchain in one isolated workspace instead of installing project dependencies on your host.
Use the same persistent workspace locally or on a remote VM, with your preferred coding agent inside it.
Use isolated git worktrees for parallel branches and delegated work without mixing their working directories.
AGRO options
Choose the Mifune Console or operate the Apache-2.0 licensed project yourself. Console customers can add Mifune engineering support when adoption needs hands-on help.
Nodes start at $0.0450 an hour. See Console pricing
Recommended · Managed by Mifune
Give coding agents an isolated, persistent AGRO workspace while Mifune operates the managed environment.
Self-hosted
Inspect, adapt, and operate the Apache-2.0 licensed AGRO workspace yourself, locally or on a remote VM.
Common questions
What the workspace does, who operates it, and how Mifune can help.
AGRO, formerly Open Harness, is an Apache-2.0 licensed, isolated, persistent workspace for coding agents. It runs on a laptop, a remote VM, or a Mifune Console node; Docker is one supported runtime. It keeps one project and its toolchain in one workspace and supports Claude Code, Codex, Pi, and other opt-in agent CLIs.
AGRO keeps project toolchains off your host and gives coding agents a workspace that persists between sessions. It can run locally or on a remote VM; remote agents can work unattended or on schedules and can be reachable over Slack. Isolated git worktrees support parallel branches and delegation.
Mifune maintains the open-source AGRO project, operates the Mifune Console as the managed path, and offers forward-deployed engineering support to Console customers.
With the Mifune Console, Mifune operates the managed environment. With open source, your team can inspect and adapt AGRO, then operate it locally or on a remote VM. Choose based on who should own the environment and review each destination for path-specific details.
Forward-deployed support is optional for Console customers who want Mifune engineers alongside their team to plan, implement, integrate, troubleshoot, or hand off a Console deployment.
Open console.mifune.dev and start free with a personal account: up to three n4 nodes that share 24 running hours each UTC month, no card, opened in your browser. Visit github.com/mifunedev/agro and read the docs at agro.mifune.dev for the self-hosted path. Email [email protected] to discuss engineering support for the Console.
