These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and own.page EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria (UIC 208745884), zh.k. Mladost 1, bl. 79, vh. 1, et. 3, ap. 9, 1784 Sofia, Bulgaria ("own.page", "we", "us"). They apply to the website own.page, the editor at app.own.page, all pages published with own.page (including on custom domains) and any related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use own.page.
own.page lets you build a personal page with links, text, media and widgets, and publish it on the internet. If you use own.page on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
You own everything you put on your page ("Your Content"). You are responsible for it and for having all the rights needed to publish it, including rights to photos, music, videos, logos and other people's personal data.
To run the Service you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt (for example resize or compress), display and distribute Your Content, as far as needed to operate, secure and improve own.page. If your page is public, we may also show it as an example in our Explore gallery or marketing. You can ask us to stop that at any time. The licence ends when you delete Your Content, except for copies we must keep by law or as evidence of a breach.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely and without paying you.
Your page is public. It must be legal and safe for everyone who visits it. You may not publish, link to, or promote any of the following:
This list is not complete. Content that breaks the law in Bulgaria, the EU or the visitor's country, or that we reasonably consider harmful to our users or to own.page, is also not allowed.
When using the Service, you may not:
We review pages both by hand and with automated tools. If we find, or are told about, content or behaviour that breaks these Terms or the law, we may at our own discretion and without prior notice:
For serious cases (for example the content listed under "Illegal and dangerous content", scams, malware, piracy or spam) we act immediately and may delete the page and account without warning and without keeping a copy for you. In less serious cases we will usually contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Where the law requires it, we will tell you what we did and why. You can ask us to review a decision by writing to [email protected] within six months. If your account is deleted for a breach of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining subscription period.
If you see a page on own.page that you believe is illegal or breaks these Terms, email [email protected] with:
We review reports quickly and let you know what we decided. Copyright and trademark owners can use the same address. Misusing the reporting process, for example with repeated false reports, can lead to us ignoring your reports.
Free pages may show a small "Sponsored by" area. Buying a sponsorship reserves a placement for our review. It does not make the campaign live. We approve every advertiser, destination, claim and creative by hand, and may ask for changes or reject a campaign. We do not accept campaigns for gambling, adult content, illegal goods or services, scams or deceptive claims, hate or extremism, weapons, drugs, tobacco or vaping, unlicensed medicines, political persuasion, malware, piracy, privacy or intellectual property violations, or misleading financial, medical, legal or guaranteed-income claims.
An approved placement runs for 30 days from the moment we make it live. A rejected campaign is refunded in full to the original payment method. Advertisers confirm they hold all rights to their creative and destination and that their campaign is lawful. We may pause or remove a campaign that later becomes unlawful, misleading or harmful.
The Service itself, including our software, designs, templates, themes, logos and the own.page name, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use them only to build and run your own page with own.page. You may not copy, sell or reuse them elsewhere without our written permission.
Widgets and integrations connect to third-party services (for example Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Calendly or Stripe). Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or changes that stop a widget from working. Links on pages lead to websites we do not control. Visiting them is at your own risk.
We work hard to keep own.page online, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a significant paid feature, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel and get a pro-rata refund of what you paid for the time after the change.
Please keep your own copies of important files. We make regular backups, but they are for our disaster recovery, not a service for restoring your individual content.
You can stop using own.page and delete your account at any time. We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, for example if we shut down the Service, or immediately for the reasons described in How we enforce these rules. When your account is deleted, your pages go offline and your content is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those required by law. We do not check everything users publish and are not responsible for content created by users or third parties, as long as we act promptly once we learn that content is illegal.
We are fully liable for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever liability cannot be limited by law (for example under mandatory consumer protection rules).
In all other cases, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, lost data or lost revenue, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 70 if that is higher.
If someone makes a claim against us because of Your Content or because you broke these Terms or the law, you will compensate us for the resulting damage and reasonable legal costs. If you are a consumer, this applies only where you are at fault.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts of Sofia, Bulgaria have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Before going to court, please contact us at [email protected]. Most problems can be solved quickly. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's consumer complaint services. We are not obliged and generally not willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
We may update these Terms when our product or the law changes. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then. If you keep using own.page after the changes take effect, the new Terms apply.
If a part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right right away, we have not given it up. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over the Service; you will be informed and can delete your account if you do not agree. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
