Questions? We’ve got answers.
Do I need to create an account to use Record Club?
Does it cost anything to use this service?
No. Record Club will always be free.
If you'd like to support us and get access to extra features, you can sign up for our paid Supporter membership. Your support helps us keep improving Record Club and building new features for everyone.
Can I import my data from other services?
Yes!
We understand the frustration of starting over, so we've built tools that let you import existing data from Rate Your Music, Album of the Year, Last.fm and Discogs. You can also upload a spreadsheet of your own, and Spotify is on the way.
Can I listen to music on Record Club?
No. But we do provide links to external streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, etc, directly from a release or artist page. You can turn on/off which services you currently subscribe to in preferences in order to quickly show the most relevant link. Or none at all, if that's more your bag.
Does this work similar to Last.fm?
No. We're fundamentally very different from Last.fm and similar services – more curation-focused and less driven by statistics. However, we may introduce some sort of scrobbling feature in the future if it makes sense for our users.
