The work behind the numbers

Real skills. Real applications.

We started with a simple idea: students become more interested in programming and machine learning when they can see how their work helps others. Our programs connect coding and data science skills to real questions affecting local communities.

The Code4Cause Experience

What Parents Are Saying

Hear from families about their children's experiences learning, exploring, and growing with Code4Cause.

My son really enjoyed the Code4Cause summer program. He had some basic coding knowledge but had never worked with machine learning before. The instructors were very patient and made sure everyone understood the concepts. I loved that the students got to work on a real project and even write their own research paper.

My daughter started the program knowing almost nothing about Python, and by the end she was explaining data analysis and machine learning concepts to us at home. The classes were engaging, and she always looked forward to them. I really appreciate the time and effort the student instructors put into making learning fun.

Why we started

We noticed who wasn’t in the room.

We noticed that many students weren’t interested in programming or machine learning because they couldn’t see how these skills could make a difference. In Summer 2025, we started Code4Cause to make ML education more engaging through impactful projects that help students explore real-world problems and see the benefits for their communities.
