a note from the founder
i build products on my own. and every time, getting people to actually see them was harder than writing the code.
so i built ShipDesk: a small board where solo founders get the whole week, and a person looks at every launch before it goes live.
i'm building it in public. if something is broken, confusing or missing, write to me on X. i answer.

yes. paste your App Store or Google Play link instead, or both. we fill in the name, description and icon from the store, and your launch page shows the download badges in place of a website button. iPhone app still in beta? a TestFlight link works too. have a website too? add all of them.
yes. you get a permanent product page, an SEO backlink to your website and a place on your week's board. free launches ask you to upvote 3 other launches before submitting.
monday gives you a full week before the next reset at midnight UTC. you can choose another day, and the launch form shows exactly how much time you will have. you can also choose to move a late approval to the following monday.
fast skips the upvote requirement, gets review within 24 hours, and spends its launch day on the home page and at the top of its categories. featured also adds automatic approval, a pinned place on the weekly board, and 7 days on the home page and at the top of its categories. a launch previously denied still needs a manual review.
yes. list a SaaS, a web app, or an iOS, Android or Mac app under apps for sale. the first 15 days are free, once per app, or $4.99 keeps it up until it sells. every 60 days we ask you, with one click, whether it is still for sale. ShipDesk takes no cut of the sale.
before a listing can be sent in, its founder adds a short code to the app: a meta tag, a file or a DNS record for a website, or the promotional text or description for an App Store or Google Play app. then a person looks at every listing before it goes up.
from the founder's own payment provider: Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Paddle, Dodo Payments, Creem, Gumroad or RevenueCat, with a read-only key. we read only totals once a day, encrypt the key and never show it again. numbers from a test key are marked as test data.
open a listing and tap i'm interested, then say who you are and what you would do with it. if the founder accepts, you both see each other's contact details and talk directly. ShipDesk does not hold money or take part in the sale, so use an escrow service and pay only once the transfer has started. how to buy an app safely →
yes. tap follow on any app for sale and you hear, in your notifications and at most one email a day, when its price drops, it sells, it comes back up or its revenue grows. the founder sees only how many people follow, never who.
yes, from the monday after its launch week. pick your launch and its name, description, icon, screenshots and video come over by themselves. you can also keep the name private: buyers then see only the kind of app, its line and its numbers until you accept them.
