Can I use my own domain on the free plan?

Custom domains start at Starter ($5/mo · 1 domain). The free plan uses our branded domains (snipr.my, snipr.page, snipr.is, snipr.site) which are clean and short. If branding matters, Starter is cheaper than a coffee and exactly half what Bitly charges ($10/mo) for the same.
Do conversion pixels actually work? My destination doesn't know about Snipr.

Yes. Snipr fires pixels via a fast interstitial that loads in under 100ms before redirecting. Visitors see your destination, advertisers see the pixel fire. We never modify or proxy your destination — your team retains control.
How long does custom domain setup take?

About 60 seconds after your DNS propagates. You add an A record pointing to our redirect IP, click verify, and Snipr provisions a Let's Encrypt SSL cert automatically. We auto-detect Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Route53, Google, Vercel, Hostinger, Bluehost, and Squarespace — no per-provider docs to read.
What happens if Snipr goes down?

Our redirect infra runs on dedicated servers with sub-50ms median response and 99.99% measured uptime over the last 12 months. Custom domains route through our secondary redirect IP, separate from the main app. If the app is down, redirects still work.
Can I migrate from Bitly or Rebrandly?

Yes. CSV import is available on every plan — paste your links and keep the same slugs on your domain. Free accounts are capped at 5 links; Starter and above support larger migrations. Custom domains require Starter ($5/mo) or above.
