Questions
Does a Featured spot change my rank?
No. Boards are ranked by community votes only. A paid spot is drawn in its own place, marked Sponsored, with no rank and no votes, so it never competes with real listings.
How many visitors will I get?
We don't publish visitor numbers we can't prove, and we promise no number of views or clicks. Ask us for our analytics before you book and decide with real figures. Once your spot is live, your Stats page shows how often it was shown and how many visits it sent to your site (one per visitor per day; bots and your own visits are not counted). The tile itself also shows how many times it has been shown so far (views), once there is a first one.
Is anything free?
Listing your product is free, and so is its place on the leaderboards. Every Featured spot is paid. Our early founding offer, which gave the first free bookings in the hero and the sidebar, is over. Spots booked under it run to their end.
Will the prices change?
These are launch prices while the site is young. They will go up as traffic grows. A booking keeps the price it was made at for its dates.
Can I get a refund, or book another length?
Refunds follow our refund policy. Runs are booked in whole days (UTC); write to us for any other length. We may refuse or remove a spot for a listing that is misleading, unlawful or harmful; see the terms.
What happens when my run ends?
Your spot comes down at the end of its last day (UTC). We email you two days before, and you can book again from My products. Your listing and its place on the leaderboards stay, as before.
Does a spot get me a dofollow link?
No. A Featured spot does not buy a rank, a vote or a dofollow link. Spots open your website through a counted link marked sponsored. A free listing can earn a dofollow link: once we approve it, add the Stackboo badge to your site to verify it.

We submit and the directories decide. No approval, ranking, traffic or Domain Rating is promised. This is a separate service from Featured spots, and it does not change a product's rank on Stackboo.
Will the directories approve my listing?
We cannot promise that. We submit clean, complete listings, which is what gets approved. Some directories approve in a day, some take weeks, some never answer, and a few reject. The report shows which. Anything still pending after 14 days is marked as such, and we do not chase it.
Do you promise rankings, traffic or a higher Domain Rating?
No. Links from directories are a small and slow signal, not a shortcut, and we promise no result.
What do you need from me?
After you pay: your URL, product name, a tagline of 60 characters or fewer, a description, a category, a logo and one screenshot. It takes about 5 minutes. You do not need to be listed on Stackboo.
What if my product is not eligible for some directories?
We skip those and use others. If we cannot reach 20 directories because your product is not eligible, we refund the difference.
Is it a subscription, and can I get a refund?
It is paid once. Before we start (within 2 working days of your order) you can have a full refund. After that, only as described in the refund policy, because the work is done.
