COLD ROW is named after the cold aisle in a data centre, the place where the machines live. Fitting, because I make my music with AI. I can't play an instrument. What I do have is stories. Every song starts on paper, with a memory or something I can't stop thinking about. Then I get interviewed about it, the lyrics come out of my answers, and Suno helps me build the sound around them. The voice is mine, run through an AI voice model, and you can still hear my accent in it. Cold Start, the debut album, is progressive and vocal trance with something underneath every track: the people we follow, the promises we buy, the ones who hold everyone up and never get seen. I won't spell them out. I'd rather you hear your own story in them. Slow Motel Psyerie is one night at a desert motel, from the last light to the first. Slow psytrance for sunrise, or for friends round with a drink. See You at the Other Side is my favourite track, in four moods, for the end of the night. I'm not here to flood your feed.
