Indie engine developer. Making CyberVGA: software 3D from 486 limits up to a JIT raytracer. Happy to talk graphics, old techniques, or weird CPU tricks.

Somewhere in 80486 CPU

Racing The Beam. Just the game this time. Been sitting on this one while I kept improving the engine. I love how the rays have been traced in an open area! :) expfunction.itch.io/racing-the-beam #gamedev #indiedev #RETROGAMING #Raytracer #Simcade

Testing my cpu based raytracer and GI performance in a closed space. To do that I've recreated #SilentHill 1's cafe scene in #CyberVGA. Still feels atmospheric, even while I’m just measuring how hard it has to work. What do you think? #gamedev #indiedev #raytracing
