## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a credit card to start?

No. HOBBY is free and needs no card. It includes Postgres, functions, durable functions, authentication, file storage and realtime, with monthly allowances for usage.

### What happens when I reach an allowance?

On HOBBY, that resource pauses shortly after it reaches the allowance, until the next monthly window or an upgrade; freeing space lifts a storage pause too. HOBBY never bills you. On SUPERAGENT, usage continues past the allowance and is paid for in credits at the rates above. New traffic pauses only if your credits run out.

### What are credits?

Credits pay for SUPERAGENT usage beyond the included allowances. Your subscription grants them every month, including on an annual plan, and you can buy more whenever you need them.

### Can I change my plan at any time?

Yes. An upgrade takes effect once the prorated difference is paid. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period, or of the term for an annual plan. If the account holds more than HOBBY allows when SUPERAGENT ends, you cannot create or change resources until you bring it under the limits, but your apps keep serving throughout.

### What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew until you cancel.

### Can I cancel, and do you offer refunds?

You can cancel at any time from your account settings, and SUPERAGENT stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Subscription fees are non-refundable.
