Sofia University's FEBA Takes an Important Step Towards EQUIS Accreditation
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" has received official EQUIS Eligibility Approval, marking an important milestone in its pursuit of international institutional accreditation. The positive decision was made by the EQUIS Committee of EFMD Global at its meeting on 22 October 2026.
INSAIT to Advance AI Research with support from Google
The latest funding extends the longstanding partnership between INSAIT and Google, focused on advancing AI research. 
Bulgarian student selected for Swiss research program from 2,500 applicants worldwide
Bulgarian student Maria Drencheva was selected from a pool of 2,500 young talents for a prestigious Swiss research program. The Student Summer Research Fellowship (SSRF) is organized annually by ETH Zurich, with just 20 places available to students from around the world.

Bulgaria ranked among Europe’s leading countries in terms of research presence at ECCV 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious conferences in computer vision and artificial intelligence. With 10 papers in the main conference programme, INSAIT at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” ranked 5th among EU research institutions by number of accepted papers. |
