I built Kalen because I'm shy, short on time and English isn't my first language. It researches what's working in my niche before a single post gets written. Then I approve every one. This post went out that way.

Over a dozen SaaS shipped. Zero employees. The hard part was never the code. It's the 20 minutes after shipping, when you have to tell people it exists.

Yeah, the algorithm changed. Kalen tried to keep up, but it doesn't look like it's enough. Back to work. Let's make it better again.

Pick your distribution channel before your stack. SEO rewards tools people search for. X rewards products you can show. Communities reward niche pain. Outbound rewards B2B. Founders: which channel brought your first paying user?

If your marketing pages are a client-rendered React app, Google may see an empty div until it gets around to rendering. Server-render or prerender the landing page, blog and docs. Keep the dashboard a SPA. It doesn't need to rank.
