About me

I am Yankuan Chi, a master’s student in computer science at the University of California San Diego. Previously, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I was an exchange student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in spring 2025.

My research interests lie in computer vision, with a particular focus on 3D vision and 3D-aware visual generation. I am currently fortunate to work in Prof. Truong Nguyen’s lab at UCSD. Previously, I was grateful for the opportunities to conduct research under the supervision of Prof. Gary Chan at HKUST and Prof. James Rehg at UIUC.
