About us
KUWAITNET™ was incorporated in 1997 for the sole purpose of providing professional IT solutions. With modest beginnings as a webhosting company, we have grown to provide complete IT solutions -- including, but not limited to dedicated servers, network consulting and planning, and customized programming solutions. We have grown from a small one-office company, to the number #1 web hosting provider in Kuwait. We recently inaugurated our new headquarters at Dar Alawadi Tower, 25th floor, Ahmad AlJaber street, Sharq, Kuwait In Information Technology, it is critical to stay abreast of new and emerging technologies. In order to provide the best possible solutions for our clients, KUWAITNET™ is constantly implementing new technologies at our own offices; giving us first hand experience that allows us to realize tangible benefits that we can pass on as cost savings for our clients. Our research and development division is coming up with new solutions that enhance the workplace. One such solution is the integration of an electronic time-tracking system, created specifically for the Middle East market. Created with industry-standard protocols, and robust database integration, our system allows managers to efficiently track the work patterns of their employees. In addition, it allows employees to keep track of their hours and benefits. We only offer solutions that we have proven to work in our environment; saving our clients both time and money.

25 years ago, we started building tech infrastructure for Kuwait from a small office. Today, Forbes Middle East named Talal AlAwadhi, our CEO, among the region's Top Tech Leaders for 2026. Kuwait had 3 leaders on this list. Out of 8 countries represented, that's something worth celebrating. We're not the biggest. But through KUWAITNET and Ottu, we've quietly become Kuwait's first Red Hat Premier Partner, first AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, and built the first enterprise payment platform from Kuwait — now serving 8 countries. Systems over goals. Every day. Forbes Middle East — thank you.
Our inaugural ranking of the Top Tech Leaders 2026 spotlights the decision makers driving the region’s technology transformation at a pivotal moment. The ranking includes three lists: Top Tech Leaders in Government, Top Tech Leaders of Global Companies, and Top Tech CEOs. It features 50 leaders across eight countries. UAE‑based executives lead with 25 entries, representing 47% of the list, followed by Saudi Arabia. Growth is exciting, but without the right foundation, it can be dangerous. As our CTO Jamil Iqbal Khokhar notes, "Scaling a business isn't just about growth." If your customer base expands but your backend remains static, you risk bottlenecks that damage the very performance and security you worked so hard to build. Your IT infrastructure must "evolve at the same pace" as your ambition. Is your tech stack ready for your next leap forward? #ITInfrastructure #BusinessScalability #CTOInsights #TechLeadership

The numbers confirm what we are seeing on the ground: "Cloud adoption in Kuwait is accelerating rapidly." With the sector expected to grow at a "14.62% CAGR through 2030," cloud solutions have become Kuwait’s fastest-growing ICT sector. This surge isn't accidental—it is being driven by "strong government cloud-first mandates" that are reshaping our digital infrastructure. Is your enterprise infrastructure ready for this decade of growth? #CloudComputing #DigitalTransformation #KuwaitICT

Never Trust. Always Verify. 🔒 That is the only security policy that matters in 2025. Perimeters are vanishing. If you are still relying on a "trust but verify" model, your data is at risk. We’ve published a comprehensive guide on Zero Trust Security—explaining what it is, why you need it now, and the exact steps to implement it with partners like Cloudflare. 👉 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/dw8dgXQQ #ZeroTrust #CloudSecurity #ManagedServices #Kuwait #TechTrends

Backups aren’t enough anymore. When ransomware hits or hardware fails, you don’t need files — you need systems running in minutes. That’s where Acronis Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) changes the entire equation. Runbooks, clean failover points, incremental failback, multi-cloud recovery, and zero hardware requirements — all from one console. This edition of our Acronis newsletter breaks down: • Why DRaaS matters more than ever • The real risks backups can’t solve • Key capabilities like automated failover, AI screenshot validation, and malware-free recovery • How regulated industries meet compliance with tested recovery plans For Kuwait and GCC businesses, pairing Acronis DRaaS with KUWAITNET’s managed expertise means staying operational even under pressure. Read the full newsletter and see how DRaaS builds true cyber resilience. #KUWAITNET #Acronis #DRaaS #DisasterRecovery #BusinessContinuity #CyberProtection #RansomwareRecovery #CloudFailover

Cyber threats evolve fast, but most breaches can still be prevented with consistent, structured security practices. That’s why we built this Cybersecurity Cheat Sheet — a clear framework that helps businesses strengthen their defenses across access control, updates, backups, endpoint security, training, and vendor management. Each step reinforces the next, creating a security posture that protects data, reduces downtime, and improves resilience across every layer of the business. If your team needs support implementing these controls, KUWAITNET provides the tools, expertise, and managed services to help you stay protected and stay ahead. #Cybersecurity #InformationSecurity #BusinessSecurity #DataProtection #RiskManagement #Kuwait

Red Hat Enterprise Linux gives organizations stability and performance—but the real unlock happens when you pair it with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. From CentOS migration to hybrid cloud management, Ansible helps teams automate how they configure, deploy, scale, and maintain their RHEL estate—reducing manual work, eliminating human error, and accelerating delivery. In our latest Red Hat newsletter, we break down four high-value automation use cases that matter for modern IT teams: • Automating CentOS-to-RHEL migration with Convert2RHEL • Enforcing consistency across physical, virtual, cloud, and edge systems • Reducing Day-2 management complexity at scale • Using event-driven automation to resolve issues before downtime happens For organizations in Kuwait and the GCC, this automation-first approach is essential for efficiency, security, and long-term scalability. As a Red Hat Premier partner, KUWAITNET supports teams in implementing RHEL and Ansible Automation Platform with local expertise and global best practices. Read the full newsletter to see how automation elevates every part of your RHEL environment. #RedHat #RHEL #Ansible #Automation #CloudInfrastructure #DevOps #KUWAITNET #HybridCloud #ITOperations #DigitalTransformation
