We were founded by Joni Doolin (who was later joined on the leadership team by her husband Wally, former President of Applebee’s and later CEO & President of Friday’s and Carlson Restaurants Worldwide) in the mid nineties. People Report, the first iteration of what is now Workforce Intelligence, was a gathering of a group of restaurant executives from five leading restaurant groups who agreed to benchmark the HR and workforce metrics critical to restaurant success and profitability. Wally and Joni remain active board members to this day.

Workforce insights are linked to sales & traffic, launching what is now Financial Intelligence and the combined view of people and performance.

We add guest sentiment (mainly reviews to begin with before expanding to other social media engagement touchpoints) to complete the three bedrocks: guest, workforce, and financial.

Growth investment accelerates product development; the MillerPulse acquisition expands the market dataset—strengthening the future Restaurant Performance Network.

Adding what was AreTheyHappy to our product portfolio enables us to offer reputation management capabilities, enabling brands to analyze and act on guest feedback at scale.

We add sophisticated menu-level survey technology (complete with PoS, loyalty and CRM integrations) to our product suite. In doing so, we are now able to deliver a holistic guest experience management solution as part of our AI Restaurant Performance Platform.
