It's hard to navigate the school resources online.
What it does
Our website helps BU students with mental health by making it easier to find resources by putting many links in one spot and using AI to summon what the user needs. It also provides a stress relief tool in the form of a fluid simulation.
How we built it
We created a website using Next.js that allows the user to interact with the AI through a text dialogue. We also created an entire Google document compiling as many links as we could find.
Challenges we ran into
Putting all the information into the program and having it run properly, along with the AI making up new information. CSS was also very difficult to work with.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of getting the program running and functional.
What we learned
We learned how to use Git collaboratively, and better ways to prompt AI to give us answers more aligned with what we want.
What's next for BUSource
We want to improve the design.
