Inspiration
I am guided by the belief that "Nothing is greater than humanity itself". Hunger is the root of conflict, theft, and personal collapse; when the stomach is empty, the mind goes silent. I was inspired to create a platform where professional commerce directly funds human dignity.
What it does
HumanityFirst is an AI-powered marketplace for high-end real estate and vehicles in Germany. For every transaction, 5% of the deal value is automatically calculated and donated to fight global hunger. The app provides a "Humanitarian Impact Analysis" showing users the exact number of meals their deal provides.
How we built it
The platform was built using Python for core logic and Gemini 1.5 Flash for the AI-generated business and impact insights. We utilized Replit for a fast development environment and GitHub to host the source code, ensuring transparency in our mission.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was seamlessly integrating deep humanitarian values into a high-speed, professional business framework while ensuring the AI accurately translated financial figures into tangible impact, such as meal counts.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully created a working demo where a single €350,000 apartment sale lovingly transforms into 8,750 nourishing meals. We proved that business can—and should—serve humanity first.
