Inspiration: I am serving as placement coordinator in my department for past six months and that's when i thought of creating this platform that can help students to check their level of preparation.
What it does: It tests user in all the aspects and give output in score that states how much is user ready for that job.
How we built it: We have used php to handle login and signup phpmyadmin is database that we have used. Python for backend and flask for connectivity. Apart from that we have used github and gemini API
Challenges we ran into: Our free gemini api stopped working.
Not able to achieve excellence in matching the skills of resume and Job description.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: calculating near to accurate score of evulation.
What we learned: Leaned to work with API. CRUD operation and data base management. Real life implementation of NLP algorithms
What's next for SkillSync: I want to strengthen architecture of project, want to add a feature that evaluate qualitative data want to create end to end product and want to public it.
